My awesome, amazing friend Hannah came back into town for just a short few days before her next summer adventure. So this afternoon after my class (where I got the awesome ring pop pictured above) we went out for a little shopping and then dinner at easy tiger. This was a first for both of us and we really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was great, and the weather was also great. We got to sit outside next to the river, and the food was also great. I will definitely come back to try more food and their pastries. yum yum.

I can't wait until she comes back.

Monday night I accompanied my parents to the moody theater to check out the band Shinyribs. They are a local austin band and really amazing! They are a blue grass/country/soul kind of band. They did a cover of TLC which was amazing! I loved them very much and will definitely go and see them again when they play in Austin.

This is one of my favorite things about summertime in Austin, or just in general. I love going to a music concert with my friends and family, where we can listen to some great music. Every time it is different and you get a unique experience from each one.

so here is the awesome new app of the day. it is called Spark. It's kind of like the instagram video where you can stop the recording and start somewhere else, but it has ma few more features. They also have a few different styles you can save your video in, as well as the ability to add music to you videos.

Above is a video of my cousins playing video games for Emma's 10th birthday last month! They are both growing up so fast and it is amazing to see how mature, responsible, and aware of her surroundings Emma has become.

This weekend was jammed pack with things especially with Valentine's Day being on Friday. Above is my quick weekend recap for you guys through some snapshots. John also ran the half marathon Sunday morning in the Austin Marathon. I'm so proud of him!! (Didn't get a picture =( he was soo tired afterwards)
