late night pizza at home slice
Do you go to places and strike up conversations with complete strangers? Well, I don't. But Vernon does. Last night we started our Austin's pizza tour by re-visiting an old favorite of mine Home Slice. While we were eating Vernon noticed the necklace of the person sitting across from us. This started one of the most interesting conversations about vinyl records, and when cd's came out it was life changing (I wouldn't know about this life changing non-sense as I'm too young). It was super cool because I love vinyl records and I'm always on the look out for some great records to add to my ever growing tiny collection.
This was a great way to end the night, especially because while I was walking to work yesterday morning some random homeless guy started talking to me about how people in the world are so mean. And I didn't know how to say "I have to go to work." I didn't want to be rude, and this guy was already talking about how he had a bad temper.
Anyways, I hope that you guys can strike up a great conversation with a stranger. (Something I need to work on)
