So this past week was pretty busy, and this up coming week will be a bit slower hopefully. I had a great week / weekend filled with friends and family. As well as finishing some crafting projects for my home, which I will post about later this week with details on how to make them!
I got to start my Thursday night and Friday with my puppy Duke! Which is always the perfect way to start any weekend, week, or day really! He is growing so much, and I love watching him grow up, even "maturing" for a puppy. (I know that sounds weird but it's true).
For the Fourth of July, John and I went to a baseball game with our friends Hannah and George. It was such a great game, even though we lost. I always feel that when going to a baseball game the company is the most important thing. We got berm seats, so we sat on the lawn and enjoyed the great weather while drinking some beers. They delayed the game due to storm clouds that were extremely close, but it only drizzled and we got a beautiful rainbow! It was extremely lucky for us, even though I came prepared with my raincoat and an umbrella.
The rest of the weekend I spent it with my family that came into town to visit for the holiday. We went shopping at the Domain and had some Coolhaus sandwiches. We each got a different one so that we could all try them! (That is the how we do things in my family). My little cousins got ice cream all over their faces!! There was also one day that I got to spend time with just my brother and two uncles! It was just like old times when we were little. We even went to a candy shop, big top, and also a toy/comic book shop, sfanthor. We then had some dessert of course at dolce neve. We rarely get to spend time just the 4 of us anymore. So when we do get a chance it makes me extremely happy since it reminds me of my childhood.
I hope everyone else had a great Fourth of July weekend!!
